Jerry Neale's intention was to capture the reality of life in common objects discarded on city streets. Some of the photos are staged, but many are shot exactly as found on sidewalks, in alleys, in vacant lots, under bridges, or in other run-down parts of the urban landscape. Jerry’s inspiration was the fascinating composition and design found in these relics. This is material that is invisible to most of us, but has captured the artist’s eye. They have an austere, and even haunting beauty.
